Studies on marine biology with emphasis on marine unicellular algae, physiology, biochemistry and biotechnology. Cultivation of Dunaliella, production of glycerol and beta-carotene. Biosynthesis of carotenoids. High pressure liquid chromatography analysis of carotenoid stereoisomers.
