Research interests:

Ocean optics, Visual ecology, Marine animal vision, Polarization and polarization vision in ocean, Remote sensing, Radiative Transfer. In my research I combine research on physical optics and underwater Radiative transfer modeling of the aquatic environment with the visual capabilities of marine animals. My research includes modeling and measurement of underwater light field, behavioral studies on aquatic animal vision and anatomy and physiology of the retina in the eyes of aquatic animals.
