Research interests:

My (main, but not only) interests are in the field of physical oceanography and limnology:

  • Climate dynamics of water bodies under the changing environment.
  • Deep water formation in the Mediterranean Sea.
  • Interaction between the physical environment and bio-chemical phenomena in Lake Kinneret.
  • Long and short-term changes in the lake\sea-atmosphere feedbacks.

I use a combination of tools: from remote sensing and in-situ observation to hydrodynamical, complex, three-dimensional models.
