About the conference
Aquaculture & Marine Biotechnology 2027 is being organized as a scientific conference that will bring together researchers, students, entrepreneurs, and policymakers to advance the science and technology of aquaculture and marine biotechnology. As global demand for sustainable blue food and marine bioresources grows, the conference centers on the biology, engineering, and genetics driving next-generation fish, algae, and invertebrate species production systems.
The two-day program combines keynote and invited lectures by leading international and Israeli experts. In addition, graduate students and marine biotechnology entrepreneurs will present their research and projects, alongside short teaser talks by undergraduate students presenting their B.Sc. research projects.
Organized jointly by Israel Oceanographic and Limnological Research (IOLR), Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, SEANOVATION and AquaculTech.
Main scientific topics
- Fish and invertebrate physiology
- Larval development and rearing of early life stages
- Sustainable feeding and nutrition
- Sustainable, environmentally sound production technologies and systems
- Algal biotechnology
- Genetics, epigenetics and genome editing

How it works
-
Prepare an abstract of up to 300 words with title, authors and affiliations.
-
Submit it through the online system by 15 December 2026 and choose your preferred format.
-
